My Philosophy and Objectives

I am a Board certified radiologist and I was Co-Chair of Breast Imaging at a teaching hospital. After working as a physician, I decided to return to my counseling roots. During my career, I published various research papers and had the pleasure of instructing medical students and residents. I have complemented my Doctor of Medicine and Master of Education in Counseling with a Certificate in Independent Educational Consulting. My considerable experience has earned me the distinguishing status of Professional Member at IECA. I am also an active member of HECA, NACAC, and NJACAC. These professional educational associations require the highest standards and ethics from their members. I uphold these principles with all my clients.

Over the years, I have extensively educated numerous students and families about colleges and guided them thoughtfully through the application process. I have also gone through the experience with my own children, which has added another valuable layer to my insight. I regularly tour colleges, meet with admission officers, and attend professional conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest admission policies, trends, and issues. While I have a special affinity for the sciences and medicine, I have successfully served many clients pursuing other pathways, including the film, music, and undecided student. I immensely enjoy working with young adults and I consider it a privilege to be a significant part of their important collegiate journey.
